Round No.4 was played under two contrasting Saturdays, summer week one and winter week two with our juniors teams registering 6 wins and 5 losses. Going from the highest age group down the best performers were – 16A Hamish Jacka 38 runs in their close loss, the undefeated 16C’s Steve Green 36 runs with Jay Savnia, Nathan Allen, Sean Richards and Harry Long 2 wickets apiece. In a match the 14A’s would like to forget Hayden Lindsay took 3 for 22 with the 14D side carry on their winning ways with Beau Wallace scoring 79 not out. In the U12 age group Kobey Freer (12A) 43 runs, Bailey Croker (12B) 22 & 2 wickets, Aiden Stewart (12B) 2 wickets and Seth O’Keefe (12D) 25 not out. In the U10’s 3 of the 4 sides had wins with Tyson Burke (10A) 25 not out, Lucas Sheehy (10A) 3 for 6, Oliver Te Hira (10B) 45, Cooper Martin 2 for 13, Brodie Routh (10E) 2 for 13 and James Yock (10E) 20 runs.
In a round of so few wins produced an abundance of outstanding performances in our senior division. The men managed to record 2 wins, 1 bye and 4 losses with Spencer White (A2) scoring a massive 244 with team mates Mirza Baig 59 not out and Jonathan Wright 59 chipping in to help their team amase 7 for 433 to crush Illawong. In a low scoring match that saw our B1 side narrowly beating Gymea 97 to 81 Ben Williams produced the incredible bowling figures of 8 for 37. Our B2 team went down by only 2 runs with Mathew Barnes scoring 110 and Corey Davis taking 5 for 37, while in the B5 match Pat Delaney produced the rounds best all round performance with 59 runs and 6 for 43.
