Stuart joined the Club as a junior player in 1989/90 going on to play 22 consecutive seasons for the Club before returning to play again in 2013/14. The 2015/16 season marked Stuart’s 25th for the Club and was accordingly awarded Life Membership of the Club in 2016 for his playing service.
Stuart has also served the Club as coach for 9 seasons from 1995/96 to 2003/04. Stuart was barely out of juniors when he took on this role and went on to be one of the Club’s most successful coaches winning 3 consecutive 16A Premiers in 2000/01, 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons. Stuart has also inspired a number of boys he has coached to follow in his footsteps and coach junior teams for the Club.
In the 2015/16 season Stuart took on the role as Senior Secretary introducing the “Senior Season Launch” and re-introducing the “Senior Presentation and Club Night”.
