Bob was Club Treasurer for 4 seasons (1988- 1992), and a regular delegate to the Men's Association with his partner Alf Lemmon for a long period of time. He was one of the clubs most efficient scorers in both junior and senior cricket, winning the Sutherland Shire Cricket Association's awards for best scorer on more occasions than any other scorer from our club.
In 1994 Bob was made a Life Member and the "Most Improved Team" Trophy was named in his honour. His sons Mark, Phil and Adrian all played junior and senior cricket. Adrian was Men's secretary for 4 seasons, captained senior teams, was men's delegate and was involved with the club for 15 years. - Russ Waddell asm (1996)
