Daniel, his son played as a junior for the Club from 1993/94 until 1996/97 and 1999/2000 before returning to the club in 2008/09 to play in the senior ranks with his brother Ben. Ben registered in the under tens in the 1999/2000 and was a member of successful 10A, 12A and 14A Premiership sides. He also represented the Shire in the Foster Shield (NSWDA Champions 2000/01) and Creak Shield teams.
In 2003 for his services to the club Ian was made a Life Member and has been honoured with his name on the "Club All Rounder" trophy. In 2007 Ian was the recipient of the "Hughes Community Award" for his services to cricket. - Drew Lake (2004)
