Peter Ward is awarded a life membership to the EDCC for the effort he has put into the club over approximately the last 12 years. He managed the 10A team in 1996-97, coached the 10B team in 1997-98, managed the 10C team in 1998-1999 and managed the 10A team in 1999-2000.
He was the junior registrar in 1998 through to 2000 and then took on the role of Assistant Secretary from 2000 to 2007 as well as being the Club Delegate in this time period. Peter has always been an active parent involved in his sons’ teams, helping out with scoring whenever needed.
On a personal note, he has always been a bloke to pitch in and help with various club duties such as packing kits, assisting at grading, helping with jacket fittings, booking accommodation for the Bradman day among other things. - Col Berry (2009)
