10A's Match Report
Round 1 V Caringbah
Season 2009-10

Firstly a big welcome to all of the parents and players both new and returning. We have a good mix of boys this season that should allow us to be fairly competitive in this grade. We have some returning from last year's U10's, a couple from the U8's and a boy new to competition cricket.

A good first up game against Caringbah saw some fantastic bowling and fielding by the team in week one, seven catches in all showed that the boys had been practising this part of their games. Josh S took 2, Nicolas 2, 1 each to Alex, Josh P and the catch of the day to Ben C taking a rocket at square leg. The team bowled very well with Dylan taking 4 and Josh S 3 wickets respectively. They were well supported by Ryan and Ben G taking their first ever wickets in U10's , well done guys. Also well done to Max and Matt who kept well behind the stumps especially to Caleb who showed great pace however was a little erratic at times.

Our batting was very solid with Matt leading the way with 54 retired not out. He was well supported by Alex 29 and Dylan 35 retired out. Josh S batted well for his first ever innings in U10's and Ben G and Josh P played some nice shots.

Once again boys congratulations and well done to both teams for a game played in very good spirit.
