10E's won 4/131 against Como-Jannali 5/52

With the real cricket weather finally appearing we headed down to Bonnett Bay to play Como-Jannali. The boys have been training hard and it showed with some great improvements in both batting a bowling.

Some great hits from Liam 12, Zac 11, Daniel Pickard 9, Jonty 9 & Daniel Pascoe 10.

Daniel Pascoe & Zac didn't disappoint in the field with some thrilling runouts and Mr safehands, Liam, taking another brilliant catch that was easily heading for the boundary. Great support from Conor, Jett & Lachlan.

But it was our bowlers who really stood out this match, not only for their wickets but of the 36 overs bowled there were 11 maidens. As we know, games can be won & lost with sundries, the boys showed some very tidy bowling.

Kye 0/6, Jonty 0/10, Michael 1/3, Daniel Pascoe 2/4, Jett 0/6, Lachlan 0/12, Luke was on a hatrick with 2/6. Liam ended up with 1/16 with the opposition peaking in their last over adding 8 runs to their total. Daniel Pickard was awesome with 0/1 off 4 overs.

Well done boys, a well deserved win. Remember to listen to Adam at training, yes, fielding can sometimes be a bit boring, but cheer your teammates on and there is nothing wrong with celebrating your wickets with some high-fives and pats on the back.
