Week 1 saw us win the toss and decide to bowl on a nice day for cricket. Como started off well and reached 71 for the loss of only the one wicket at the drinks break. The boys dug in once again to run through their top order batsmen and restrict the score to 6-126 after 50 overs. Our fielding was really good this game and our bowling was nice and tight to keep the score down. Well done to Ben C who took a great catch at square leg and follow this up with 2 wickets.

Week 2 saw the weather clear momentarily to give us hope of a chase. We started off pretty well however a silly run out and an unfortunate umpiring decision caused us to stutter a little before the rain washed us out for the day.

Well done boys, a good game ruined by the weather. Hopefully we can get through the remainder of the season rain free.
